Gatton, AUSTRALIA, Friday, June
22, 2007: Battlefield Sports is proud to announce the inaugural
national tournament for their award winning live game, Battlefield
Live. The National Clan War gives Battlefield Live fans the chance
to win a variety of prizes!
Five person clans are coming from all over Australia, including
local clans from Toowoomba and Brisbane and interstate clans from
south of Melbourne and north of Melbourne.
The National Clan War will be held at Gatton Football Complex,
corner of Buraaba and Princess Streets, Gatton on July
29th, 2007 from 0900hours (9am). The event will run all day with the
final round scheduled for 1500hours (3pm).
The presentation ceremony will be from 1600hours (4pm).
Registration is now open and all participants must register to
secure a spot in the event.
Act fast, space is limited!
Canditta Anderson, Communications Commanding Officer, said “This is
first ever national competition. I truly can’t wait to see how
gamers will deal with the tough, fast, decisions that will come
their way over the course of the tournament.”
Battlefield Live is actually an entirely new sport, like a live
computer game, specifically
designed for live games. This level of play gives the gamer a chance
to experience true issues of command, control, sighting, and supply
while exercising your body and having fun. Opponents will never be
entirely sure what their challenging clan will do next, increasing the tension
and fun.
