Here's another example of how one battlefield is making
a difference...
As
reported by the Formby Times, children from Belarus
affected by the Chernobyl nuclear disaster are spending
three weeks in Southport.
Twenty youngsters have been brought to our town by
charity Chernobyl Children's Project for a holiday,
including a trip to New Pleasureland's Battlefield Live.
At Battlefield Live, an outdoor combat laser game played
inside a huge outdoor arena, the children competed
against each other with replica guns.
Nick Moxham of Battlefield Live said: "The children were
quite surprised to discover that the guns used were
configured to speak Russian.
"They also received their certificates of excellence
printed in Russian."
